Summer Nights LIVE to start

The second season of Belgium’s free Summer Nights LIVE will start Friday, May 31, at Community Park.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and features The String Along Band, which plays rock, bluegrass and country music, including songs by Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, John Denver and Roy Orbison.

Concessions will be available for purchase, including pulled pork sandwiches and other grilled fare. A Luxembourg beer and wine garden benefitting Mel’s Charities of Ozaukee County will be held.

Kickball, corn hole, a bounce house and a market with vendors selling their wares are also included.

It is the first of three Summer Nights LIVE events. The others are July 12 and Aug. 16.
