Summer festivities off to a hot start

Belgium’s Summer Nights LIVE concert series featuring food, games, shopping and beverages drew its largest crowd to date on May 31, said Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce President Tara Williams. The String Along String Band performed, Mel’s Charities ran the beer and wine garden and the event included a classic vehicle cruise. Above (from left), John and Linda Risch and Sandy McHugh enjoyed the tunes, atmosphere and warm temperatures. The next Summer Nights LIVE is Friday, July 12. Wayward Sons will perform country music, the Cedar Grove-Belgium Broncos Youth Football Program will run the concession stand and the Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 of Belgium will host the beer and wine garden.
