A special scene for a future Marine

Peyton Wissmueller graduated early from Grafton High School in order to join the U.S. Marines, and his family held a going-away party for him on Saturday before he left for basic training in San Diego on Sunday. A few Grafton football coaches surprised their all-conference inside linebacker by giving Wissmueller his championship ring early. Inscriptions include his name, number, “14-0” and “Undefeated.” Grafton beat Reedsburg, 17-15, in the state championship game on Nov. 21 at Camp Randall in Madison.
