Singer/Songwriter to perform March 28

Tim Grimm will perform a Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series concert with Sergio Webb at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Unitarian Church North in Mequon.

Grimm is described as a bit of a Renaissance man in the performing arts world with a career that blends songwriting, travel and acting in theater, film and television.

For most of his 25-year career as a storytelling balladeer, he has written primarily about community, family and social issues framed by his strong sense of place. His songs are filled with colorful characters and landscapes, written and sung with vivid warmth and intimacy.

Grimm’s newest album, “Bones of Trees,” was the most-played album on International Folk Radio in 2025, and his protest ballad “Broken Truth” was the most-played song on Folk Radio for both 2024 and 2025.

Webb is Grimm’s friend and touring partner who also accompanies him on “Bones of Trees.”

Webb has been a journeyman musician for years and works from his Nashville home.

Tickets are $22 in advance or $26 at the door, with student tickets selling for $12. A $1 discount per food item donated to a maximum of $4 will be given at the door.

Concessions will be available.
