Shipwreck Sanctuary council to meet Jan. 15

The Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will meet at Hawthorne Hills Park in the Town of Saukville from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15.

The meeting will be in the multipurpose building at the park.

The agenda includes community updates from the Sugar Maple Nature School and the Ozaukee County Historical Society; and updates from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration staff on Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary programs, upcoming events and research.  

Public comments will be taken at approximately 7:50 p.m.
