Sharon A. Casper

Ms. Sharon Casper of Fredonia passed away at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac early Wednesday morning, Jan. 18, 2023.  She was 61 years old.

Sharon was born in Port Washington on Jan. 21, 1961, the daughter of Bernard J. and Dorothy A. (nee Weyker) Casper. The family lived in Fredonia.

Sharon graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1979.

She became a regular participant at Portal Industries, a place where she made many friends.

Sharon was actively involved with the Special Olympics and loved attending the events.

Sharon was involved with the Fredonia Lions Club, always a joyous presence at Lions Club Camp Rosholt.   

Sharon’s other passion was the Green Bay Packers! She attended many games and rarely missed an airing of her favorite team.

She also enjoyed puzzles, bowling and talking with her brother.

Survivors include her brother Steve Casper of Crivitz, stepfather Tom Foster of Fond du Lac, many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends, including special friends Sherry Johnson and  David and Janet Kaiser.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Dorothy Casper, grandparents George and Eleanor Weyker and Ben and Armella Casper, uncles James Casper and Robert “Bob” Weyker and cousin Michelle Weyker.

The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. A walk-through of the Fredonia Lions Club is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Sharon will be laid to rest beside her family at St. Rose Cemetery, Fredonia, the following day.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Portal Industries or the Fredonia Lions Club.

Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
