Senior softball league seeks players

For those 65 or older and still playing softball or still have the itch to play, there is a league for that.

The 65-and-over softball league played at Centennial Park Tuesday mornings in Grafton is preparing to start its third season and is looking for players.

Games start in May and run through the end of August. Anyone born in 1961 or before is eligible.

For those struggling to run, batters only have to reach first base before a pinch runner may enter.

It is a draft league and everyone is placed on a team if they apply before the April 24 deadline.
