Seed saving is topic of Aug. 15 program
“Seed Saving: History, Importance, Preparation and Saving” will be presented at the Cedarburg Library. on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The 1 to 2:30 p.m. program in the library’s community room is sponsored by the Ozaukee Master Gardeners.
It will be presented by Master Gardener Doreen Hamburg, a founding member of the Baraboo Seed Library who will discuss the history of seed saving, common seed terminology and how to plant and save seeds for best results.
She will also demonstrate seed-saving methods and some of her favorite seeds.
Registration is required and may be done at ozaukeemastergardeners.org.
