Sean T. Kaul
Sean T. Kaul of Juneau, formerly of Grafton, was born to eternal health on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the age of 27 years. Sean passed peacefully, with his aunt holding his hand, at the Clearview Nursing Facility in Juneau, Wis.
Sean was born on Jan. 3, 1997, in Mequon, Wis., the son of Timothy and Susan (nee Woods) Kaul.
As a child, Sean attended school in Grafton and later graduated from the School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Although Sean was blind and faced many health obstacles throughout his short life, he was still able to enjoy things like being outside, listening to music and being silly and goofing around with his caretakers. Sean had quite the personality, a sense of humor and the ability to convey his likes and dislikes.
He loved the feeling of the wind, the smell of lavender, the feeling of being spritzed with water, his grandma singing “I am Jesus’ Little Lamb” to him … these things brought a smile to his face.
After his father Tim passed away in 2012, and his mother Sue passed away in 2016, Sean had many caregivers who continued to look out for him. He enjoyed spending time with his many family members, caregivers and friends.
Sean is survived by his beloved grandmother Arline Kaul and loving caregivers Gerry (Steve) Spielbauer, Joanne Viesselman and Mary Herian, as well as the many aunts, uncles and cousins of the Kaul family and the Woods family.
Sean was preceded in death by his parents Tim and Sue (nee Woods) Kaul and grandparents Fred “Fritz” Kaul, Charles B. Woods III and Geraldine Woods.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 5 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton. The family will receive friends and visitors on Friday at the church from 3 p.m. until the service.
Entombment will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Grafton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the School for Blind and Visually Impaired, Clearview Nursing Facility or Mel’s Charities of Ozaukee County are appreciated.
Please visit www.muellerfuneralhome.com to send online condolences to the Kaul and Woods families.
The family would especially like to thank the loving and caring staff at Clearview Nursing Facility and Sean’s Visiting Angel Lorri for all of their care, compassion and support.
