School Board selects officers, seeks member
The Cedar Grove-Belgium School Board chose its new officers on May 13.
Jeremy Spriggs was named president. Eric Meinnert is the vice president. Jennifer Schueller is the clerk and John Krechel is the treasurer.
The officers were the only board members nominated for each position.
The meeting was the last for Kurt Kraus, who resigned after serving for 11 years.
The board is seeking a candidate to succeed him. People must file a declaration of interest in the district office at 321 N. Second St. or by emailing Supt. Elizabeth Freeman at efreeman@cgbrockets.com.
The deadline to file is 3 p.m. June 8.
