Saukville’s Live at the Triangle catches a break from the weather, kicks off at last

The Live at the Triangle concert series in Saukville, which was supposed to begin on June 10, finally caught a break and hosted its first performance of the summer last week after its first three concerts were cancelled because of an uncanny string of Wednesday night rain showers and storms. Music fans were ready and packed Veterans Park to listen to Mt. Olive on a comfortable and dry July 22 evening. The series, which typically features concerts every other Wednesday, will now run weekly to accommodate rescheduled performances. Conscious Pilot was to play on June 24 followed by Wire and Nail on Aug. 5, Lost FM on Aug. 12 and The First Wave on Aug. 19.      Photos by Sam Arendt
