Sandra Dimmett

Sandra A. Dimmett entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. She was 74 years old.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1948, in Port Washington, Wis., to parents Harold and MaryAnn (nee Hamm) Niesen.

Sandy graduated from Port Washington High School in 1966.

She was united in marriage with Randall Dimmett on July 19, 1969, and together they raised two daughters.

Sandy was a preschool teacher for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, crafting and knitting.

Sandy loved the outdoors, including camping, kayaking, hiking and skiing.

Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and always attended their various sporting events and activities.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Randy; children Jennifer (Brad) Zwicker and Erica (Chris Utecht) Dimmett; and grandchildren Hailey and Meghan Zwicker and Adeline, Otto, Helen and Hazel Utecht.

She is further survived by siblings Rick Niesen, Sue Westphal, Barb (Jim) Maronde, Mary Niesen and Mike Niesen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Mary’s Church, 451 Johnson St., Port Washington, WI. Father Pat Wendt will be presiding. The family will receive visitors from 9 a.m. until the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wisconsin  Humane Society, Ozaukee Campus, are appreciated.

Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
