Saints drop a deuce
The Saukville Saints lost two games last weekend.
On Sunday the Oakfield Oaks beat the Saints, 6-4.
The Saints held a 4-3 lead through five innings before the Oaks scored three runs in the next two innings to pull out the victory.
Saints Ian Tucker, Dustin Kesner and Aaron Brockman each had two hits. Mike Pruefer hit a solo home run and was walked three times.
The Oaks were lead by Adam Ryan, who drove in four runs with three hits, including a triple.
On Saturday the Cedarburg Mercs beat the Saints, 11-4.
The score was 6-3 heading into the eighth, when the Mercs scored five to pull away. The Saints tried to answer by loading the bases in their half of the inning but only managed one run.
Dustin Kesner and Joe Eigenberger each had two hits for the Saints.
Taylor Grimm and Nick Boehnlein each had three hits each for the Mercs.
The Saints next host the Kewaskum A’s on Saturday and the Thiensville Mequon Twins on Sunday. Both games are at 1:30 p.m.
