Sailboat racing fleet in Port

Sailboats filled the north slip of the Port Washington
marina following the Lake Michigan Clipper Cup race.
A fleet of 43 boats raced across the lake from Muskegon, Mich., on Friday in fair winds that allowed them to set
colorful sails called spinnakers like the one on the boat photographed while passing the Port lighthouse. After the race, sailors relaxed in the marina, where Molly McCranner adjusted a pennant on the 40-foot sailboat Moxie.
