Roger L. Aultman

Roger L. Aultman, 87, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Plymouth Healthcare.
Roger was born in Iowa on Feb. 11, 1939, to Frank and Helen (Ertz) Aultman. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1957, and in 1971 he married Marlene Weiss. The couple had no children together. Marlene had a daughter, whom Roger treated and raised as if she were his own.
Roger worked at Gilbert Shoes in Thiensville for many years. He then worked at Rusell T. Gilman (Gilman Precision) in Grafton. Roger retired in 2004 after 31 years of dedicated service.
When Roger was younger, he enjoyed the Saukville Rifle and Pistol Club, but we all know his favorite hobby was model trains. He was one of the founding members of the Metro Model Railroad Club.
Roger’s memory will live on through his daughter Debra (Chuck) and grandchildren Michael and Melissa (Arron).
He was preceded in death by his wife Marlene, his parents Frank and Helen and in-laws Margaret and Alvin Cain.
Roger’s entombment will be announced via Facebook through his family.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Ellen’s Home of Port Washington and the nurses, aides and kitchen staff at Plymouth Healthcare and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice of Sheboygan Falls for their care and support.
A heartfelt thank you to the train club members for visiting and sitting with Roger and helping with his last train layout.
Thank you to Chuck and Mike for the visits and countless times they helped Roger move.
For all who helped, your support, especially during Roger’s last days, fills his family with love and gratitude. Last, but not least, thank you to Grace the German shepherd for always coming along.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus.
