Rodney William Wolf

Rodney William Wolf, formerly of West Bend, passed away at his Port Washington home on Sept. 15, 2026, at the age of 75.

Born on Nov. 29, 1950, to Joyce Hardegan and Roland Wolf, Rodney was the oldest of seven children and had profound love for family.

On June 10, 1972, Rodney married Karen Ruth Kube in West Bend, and the couple had three children together. After raising their family in Wisconsin, Rodney and Karen moved to the land of her birth, living many happy years in Hawaii before returning to Wisconsin, where he rejoiced in being a grandfather.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972 as an NCO. Ending his service as a corporal, he earned his Vietnamese Language Certification, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Star, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Marksman Badge. He loved connecting with fellow ‘jarheads’ in mutual admiration and appreciation of each other’s USMC baseball caps and engaging in good Midwestern breeze shooting.

He deeply enjoyed time with his family, doting on his granddaughters, grilling brats and watching the Packers. 

Rodney is survived by his wife Karen; his children Katie of Concord, Calif., Kristen of Port Washington, Wis., and Kassandra of Milwaukee, Wis.; his granddaughters Kendra and Ruth; his sister Cindy (John); and brothers Keith (Nola) and Douglas (Laura), as well as dear siblings-in-law Patty, John (Bev), Steve (Donna), Kathy-Jo (Jeffrey) and Mari (Tom), beloved nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Michael, Terry and Charles.

Per Rodney’s wishes, a private celebration of life will was held.

In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging donations made in Rodney’s name to the Honor Flight Network, which he was very proud to participate in.
