Robert Tackes

Robert Tackes of Saukville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023.  He was 43.

Robert was born to Harold and Diane (nee Kultgen) Tackes on Feb. 26, 1980, in Port Washington, Wis.

Growing up, Robert enjoyed wrestling, football and fishing with his dad. He had interests in architecture in school that would not be fulfilled.

Robert was diagnosed with schizophrenia in high school and later had chronic health issues, to which he lost his battle.

Robert will remain in the hearts of his parents Harold and Diane, his sister Angela (Christopher) Burton, nephew Nigel Burton, nieces Norianna and Nadia Burton, aunts Rita Rady, Doris May and Carol Tackes, uncle Raymond Kultgen and best friends Tim Prom and Chris Johns. He is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Rosalie Tackes, Raymond Kultgen, Christine Kultgen and Charlie Burton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Divine Savior Parish, Holy Cross Chapel, 5330 County Rd. B, Belgium, WI 53004.  Father Neil Zinthefer will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
