Robert A. Mors

Robert A. Morse, 85, of Adell passed away surrounded by family at Kathy Hospice in West Bend on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

He was born on his family’s farm on June 28, 1938, in Rock County, Wis., the son of Raymond and Winifred (nee Winslow) Morse.

Bob graduated from Craig High School in Janesville in 1956.

He was in the National Guard from 1958 to 1964. He was stationed in Fort Lewis, Wash., from 1961 to 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Bob was a farmer his whole life. He bought a farm in 1978 in Sheboygan County with his wife and brother.

Bob was married to Donna Durfee in 1962 and they had five children, Debbie (David) Kurth, Jackie (Steven) Rathke, Martin (Lynelle) Morse, Bobby Jo Morse and Michael (Tracy) Morse; grandchildren Adam Kurth, Amy (Nicholas) Theis, Whitney Rathke, Lindsey (Ben) Ross, Evan (Megan) Rathke, Aaron (Virginia) Rathke, Courtney Rathke, Nolan Morse, Trenton Kittler and Amber Morse; and great-grandchildren Everly, Maverick, Ransom, Montana, Josephine and Maya and two on the way.

He is further survived by siblings Rose Marie Baum, Richard Morse, Harry (Judy) Morse, Cindi Morse and Lynda (Larry) Carstens and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law Donald and Josephine Durfee, granddaughter Amanda Rathke and brother-in-law Allen Baum.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, WI 53004. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the service.   

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Hospital are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Aurora Grafton Medical Center and the staff at Kathy Hospice.

Eernisse Funeral Home of Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
