Riveredge to unveil initial renovations

Riveredge Nature Center in the Town of Saukville will unveil the first phase of its Visitor Center renovations from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The work includes new landscaping, building entrances, an atrium, restrooms, classrooms on the pond level and other work intended to help make the center an accessible, sustainable and educational community hub.

Drinks and other light refreshments will be provided, and staff from Riveredge and its construction partners CG Schmidt and HGA will discuss phase two of the project, which includes an accessible prairie trail loop.

Riveredge has raised more than $2.3 million for the project and needs to raise an additional $620,000 to complete the work.
