A Ride Back In Time

The completion of years of fundraising and work to renovate the historic Cedarburg Train Station at Pioneer Village in the Town of Saukville was celebrated last week by the Ozaukee County Historical Society, which operates the village, as well as Chambers of Commerce in the county and the Ozaukee County Tourism Council. Clockwise from above left, Janet Levy and Queenie Wiesen looked at historical memorabilia. Dressed the part of a rail passenger at the turn of the 20th century was Lucy Kolb. Also well dressed were Marsha Williams and 7-year-old Pauline Diamond, who stood by the ticket window. A ribbon was cut to officially open the station.                             Photos by Sam Arendt
