The Rev. Doctor Daniel E. Paavola, pastor of River of Life Church in Saukville, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, following a motorcycle accident. He was 69.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m.

Eernisse Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
