Retirement planning is topic for Port class

A retirement-planning class will be held by the Port Washington Parks and Recreation Department this fall.

The class is intended to provide people with a clear plan for retirement.

It includes a consultation and financial plan as well as information regarding social security, estate planning, life planning and investments.

It will be taught by Haly Besaw, a certified financial planner who specializes in helping people effectively manage life’s transitional events.

Classes will be held at the Recreation Center from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Oct. 8 to Nov. 11 or from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 1 and 8.

Tuesday classes will be held online from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 to Oct. 14.
