Rennie Szepanski

    Rennie Szepanski, 64, of Weston, died from cancer at his home on Tuesday, July 24.
    Mr. Szepanski was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 3, 1953, to Ray and Wanda Szepanski.
    He was a long-time resident of Port Washington and worked for many years at A.O. Smith Corp. in Milwaukee. He also worked for WH Transport and spent the last 21 years of his career at Greenheck Fan Corp.
    When he moved to Weston, Mr. Szepanski met his future wife Jeryl at Arrow Sports Club, which became their favorite hangout. They were married at the sports club on June 17, 1995.
    Mr. Szepanski’s family said he loved sports and music. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family.
    Mr. Szepanski is survived by his wife Jeryl of Weston; children Sarah Krause of Stevens Point, Adam Reeves of Appleton and Kate (Justin) Mattice of Wausau; grandchildren Alexandra, Xander, Conner and Lauren; one great-grandchild; and brother David (Janet) of Mountain.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lenore Schoenheit.
    A celebration of his life will be held at Arrow Sports Club in Weston from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5.
    Brainard Funeral Home–Everest Chapel is handling the arrangements.
