Registrations taken for Lions Run on Aug. 8

Registrations are being accepted for the annual Lions Run in Grafton on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The run begins at Centennial Park, 1370 17th Ave.

Registration and check-in begin at 8 a.m., and the race starts at 9 a.m.

Awards and recognition will be presented following the race.

Proceeds from the Lion Run help the Grafton Lions Club continue its mission of serving the community through programs that support vision care, youth activities, scholarships, community improvement projects and assistance for local residents in need.

The club is also accepting sponsorships for the event and is seeking volunteers to assist with registration, course support and event activities.
