Registrations taken for Huntin’ for Pumpkins

Registrations are being accepted for the annual Huntin’ for Pumpkins event on Friday, Oct. 27, in Port Washington’s Upper Lake Park.

There will be two hunts, one at 5 p.m. and the second at 6 p.m.

Youngsters dressed in their Halloween costume will hunt for their perfect pumpkin on the south end of the park, where they will be hidden.

They will then decorate their pumpkins before taking a photo with it.

There will also be a story walk set up in the park by Niederkorn Library staff members.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The cost is $8 per child for city residents and $16 for non-residents. There is no fee for parents.

Registrations are required by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 25. They may be made online at portwashington.recdesk.com.
