Registration open for Sept. 22 Parkinson’s event

The Cedar Grove Parkinson’s Disease Support Group is hosting its second Family & Friends event on Monday, Sept. 22.

A light meal will be served from 5:15 to 6 p.m. The program will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

People will have a chance to learn more about Parkinson’s disease, living with the disease, being a caregiver to someone with the disease and ways to provide support. The event is free.

One of the speakers is Dacy Reimer, Wisconsin Parkinson’s Association director of medical advising and education.

The event is at First Reformed Church, 237 S. Main St., Cedar Grove.

Spots are limited. Registration is encouraged and can be done by calling Barb Skutka, group facilitator, at (920) 889-9154 or emailing her at bskutka@wi.rr.com.
