Registration is open for Portal Inc. Run
Registration is open for the 41st annual Portal 5-kilometer Run, Walk and Roll at Port Washington’s Fish Days, and a new event has been added this year.
A captain’s course around the inner track of Coal Dock Park offers flat land for those seeking a more relaxed route.
Participants are invited to garner sponsors for pledges per lap.
One mile is about four and a half laps around the track. Participants may walk, run or roll as far as they like.
Captain’s course registration is $25 through July 11, $30 from July 12 to 18 and $50 on race day.
Registration for the traditional run, walk and roll is $40 through July 11 and $50 from July 12 to 18 and on race day.
Registration packets may be picked up from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Port Washington State Bank Community Room, 218 E. Washington St. On race day, packets are available from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at Coal Dock Park, 146 S. Wisconsin St.
The event runs from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18.
