Port State Bank executive receives lifetime service honor

Joan Woldt, chief operating officer for Port Washington State Bank, has received the Wisconsin Bankers Association Lifetime Service Award recognizing her decades of dedicated service to the banking industry and the communities she has served.

Woldt’s career in banking began in 1988. Over the years, she has held leadership roles at both regional and national financial institutions, and nearly all of her time in the industry has been spent serving communities across Wisconsin.

She joined Port State Bank almost 32 years ago. 

“I’ve always believed that banking is about people first,” Woldt said. “It’s been an honor to serve our customers and work alongside such dedicated colleagues over the years. I’m truly grateful for this recognition.”

The Lifetime Service Award is presented to individuals who have devoted 30 or more years to the banking profession in Wisconsin. 

Woldt’s career exemplifies the values of integrity, leadership and community engagement that the award celebrates, bank officials said. 

Port Washington State Bank has been a family owned and operated financial institution based in Port for 126 years. The bank has branches in Saukville, Cedarburg, Grafton, Mequon, Thiensville, Belgium and Fredonia.
