Port sisters earn medical degrees from Florida school

    Kimberly and Catherine Boldig of Port Washington earned their doctor of osteopathic medicine degrees from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
    Kimberly is the recipient of the Excellence in Research Award, which is given to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated continued efforts in clinical or basic science research and contributed to the overall knowledge in the biomedical field.
    She will undergo internal medicine residency training with the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville.
    Catherine will undergo neurology residency training with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.
     The twins, who each earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at Marquette University, are 2012 graduates of Port Washington High School.
    They are the daughters of Judy and Bob Boldig of Port Washington.
