Port Washington police are looking for help in locating Madisyn Brakke, a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since May 1.

Police Chief Kevin Hingiss said Brakke was last seen about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, leaving Port Washington High School.

Brakke, who lives in Port, is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police believe she may be with friends in Milwaukee, Hingiss said.

“We’d like to get her back and make sure she’s safe,” he said. “We’re hoping someone will let us know where she is or she will come home.”

This isn’t the first time Brakke has run away, Hingiss said. She ran away last year and was found in Milwaukee.

Hingiss said police exhausted their leads in searching for Brakke before going public with her disappearance.

“Any help we could get would be appreciated,” he said.

Anyone with information about Brakke is asked to call the department at 284-5575.
