Phyllis Plzak

 

Phyllis Anna Plzak of Random Lake went to her Heavenly home on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at the age of 88.

She was born in Antigo, Wis., on Feb. 3, 1933. Her parents were George and Selma (Greenburg) Pesl.

She married Dale Plzak on Feb. 16, 1957, in Antigo and together they had two boys.

Phyllis graduated from Antigo High School in 1951. She was a long-time and active member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Fredonia. Phyllis had various factory positions and retired in 1983.

She enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan and cutting wood every fall with her family. Phyllis was known for her knitting, often making clothes for her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo at the casinos.

Phyllis will remain in the hearts of her son Todd of Random Lake, her brothers Richard (Kathy) Pesl of Antigo and George (Donna) Pesl of Harshaw and her brother-in-law Ed (Pat) Fick.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dale, son Terry, brother Robert Pesl, sister Mary (Ron) Schoblaska and brother-in-law Robert (Jeanie) Plzak.

A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Divine Savior Catholic Parish, Holy Cross Chapel  (5330 County Rd. B, Belgium, WI 53004).

Phyllis lived her last four years at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake. The family would like to express a sincere thank you for the excellent care she received.
