PHOTO OP ED: Here’s to happy times at the Port beer garden!

There were no signs of distress over city restrictions at the beer garden event held in Upper Lake Park Saturday. Earlier in the week, beer garden volunteers and participants gave the Common Council an earful over new rules and a fence put in place this year for the popular summer events, but the beer garden sponsored by the Port Washington Rotary Club was marked by good cheer and, of course, good beer. At the Rotary beer garden, Aggie Northrup, Kristin Jacoby, Anthony Garant and Jeremy Bodus (from left above) raised a toast. Brad Hoeft (left) served a tantalizing variety of brews. Erik Olsen’s T-shirt (right) proclaimed him a supporter of locally crafted beer.
