Luxembourg Fest offers a new element this year, a photography exhibition, “Dynasty: Luxembourg-Nassau” in Belgium Village Hall.

The exhibition shows symbols of the Luxembourg Royal Dynasty, highlighting rare details found in places and on objects normally out of the public eye.

The exhibit includes photographs from the 1763 Family Pact of Nassau and interiors of the Grand Ducal Palace and personal artifacts belonging to the Nassau family, such as Grand Duke Adolphe’s reading glasses and jewelry belonging to Grand Duchess Charlotte.

Visitors will be able to answer questions for a chance to win prizes.

A special opening reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, and the exhibit will be on display from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

It is sponsored by The Luxembourg Ministry of Culture and the Roots and Leaves Association.
