Patricia A. Spiering

Patricia A. Spiering, age 87, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026.

Pat was born on May 9, 1938, in Oshkosh, Wis., to parents Roy and Magdalene (nee Campbell) Fischer.

She attended St. Peter Catholic School in Oshkosh and Oshkosh High School.

Pat was united in marriage with Albert R. Spiering on Feb. 4, 1956, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Together they had four children.

Patricia was proud to be a part of the Christ Child Society at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh.

Pat and Al were members of the Timbertoppers Square Dancers, Pioneers Camping Square Dancers and the Sacred Heart Dartball League.

For the past five years, Pat resided at High Point Residence in Port Washington, where she was very active in their daily activities and made many friends.

Pat is survived by her children Ronald Spiering, Karla (Joe) Szekeres and Maggie (Steve) Footit, grandchildren Tamara Boushele, Amanda Szekeres, Samantha (Blake Erwin) Szekeres and Ben, Hailey and Sydney Footit. She is further survived by her brother Robert Fischer, son-in-law Keith Boushele, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, daughter Cynthia Boushele and brothers Thomas (Joyce) and Jack Fischer.

A service for Pat will be held at noon Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, WI 53074. The family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the service at noon. Pastoral Associate Deb Hamm will officiate.

Pat will be laid to rest next to her husband at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend.
