Patricia R. ‘Patty’ Wallner

Mrs. Patricia Wallner of the Town of Saukville passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.  She was 75 years old.

Patty was born in Port Washington on June 6, 1947, the daughter of Vincent and Anita (nee Jakobi) Schmitt.

She grew up on the family farm in the Town of Belgium and attended high school in Port Washington, where she was active with the marching band, playing clarinet.  She graduated with the Class of 1965.

After high school, she attended Bryant and Stratton College, where she received her associate degree in business.

Patty worked for the School District of Random Lake as an executive secretary for many years.

On Nov. 28, 1968, she married Frederick “Rick” Wallner III at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake Church. He preceded her in death in 2020.

Patty enjoyed gardening, baking, her dog Buddy and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters Rebecca Barrie and Cindy (Tim) Raasch, her two grandsons Hunter and Caulden, her brother Robert Schmitt, her sister Clara Ann (Art) Uselding, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frederick and her brother Vincent Schmitt Jr.

A gathering in remembrance of Patty will be held at Post 470 American Legion Hall in Saukville on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at 1 p.m.

The Wallner family wishes to thank the wonderful and compassionate nurses and doctors in the ICU at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
