Patricia L. Nielsen was born to eternal life on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, peacefully at her home.

Visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from noon until 2 p.m., also at St. Boniface in Mequon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Boniface, the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association would be sincerely appreciated.
Patricia was born on Dec. 13, 1932, in Neenah to Arnold and Marcella Sanderfoot.
She met the love of her life, Ronald M. Nielsen, in high school, and they married in 1955.
They spent a few years in Neenah starting a family and dreaming of their future together. Eventually they moved to Cedarburg, where their family continued to grow and they started their first business together in the late 1960s.
Patricia’s life revolved around her family and church. Raising five children and running several businesses kept her busy, but later in her life she was able to become much more active in her church. She was a dedicated 50-plus-year member of St. Boniface.
She took great pride in watching her family grow and enjoyed reading, music, road trips and a good party. Pat had a feisty spirit tempered by her love, generosity and faith. Her family and many, many friends will truly miss her smile, laugh and guidance in their lives.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 63 years, Ron, and was the loving mother of James (Laurie) Nielsen, Randall (Janice) Nielsen and William (Connie) Nielsen.
She is further survived by sister-in-law Donna (the late Ted) Knorr of Neenah; nieces Linda (Frank) Tullo, Deborah (Gary) Monk and Jena Knorr; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laura (William Sr.) Jacoby, son “Tony” (Debra) Nielsen, sister-in-law Allene (the late “Tony”) Tempesta and nephew Jay Knorr.
