Parkinson’s support group to hold online meeting

    The Ozaukee and North Shore Parkinson’s Disease Support Group will meet via Zoom from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.
    Since September is National Falls Awareness Month, the guest speaker will be Valeree Lecey, an occupational therapist and leader of the Stepping On falls prevention program.  
    Lecey will discuss ways to reduce the risk of falling and eliminate fall hazards in your home.  
    Patrick Gilbertson, fitness manager at Newcastle Place, will provide exercises to increase balance and lower body strength.   
    Registration is required by calling Bonnie Barr at (414) 218-1888 or emailing bonbarr100@gmail.com. Barr will then send participants a link to the  Zoom meeting.  
    Anyone who hasn’t used Zoom before may join a test meeting to see how to use the program at https://zoom.us/test.
