Ozaukee baseball seeks first victory

Ozaukee High School’s baseball team is hoping to crack into the win column soon.

The Warriors started the season 0-5.

They lost at University School of Milwaukee, 9-4, on March 31. Colton Dybul had two hits and two RBIs. Mason Schroder had a triple and an RBI.

Dybul allowed two runs, three hits and six walks while whiffing three in four innings. Schroeder allowed seven runs (three earned), four hits and four walks while striking out two in two innings.

The Warriors lost to Oostburg at home, 8-6, on April 7.

Colter Zimdars had two hits. Jackson Szydel had a hit and two RBIs. Dybul had a double and an RBI. Kyle Liermann had an RBI. Dybul allowed eight runs (six earned), seven hits and walk while striking out two in 6-2/3 innings.

The Warriors lost at Oostburg, 6-1, last Thursday. Stats weren’t available.

Ozaukee lost, 10-5, at St. Mary Catholic last Saturday. Max Tester had a hit and an RBI. Szydel had two RBIs. Schroeder had a double. Szydel allowed three runs and five hits in 3-2/3 innings. Zimdars allowed seven runs (six earned) four hits and five walks while striking out two in 2-1/3 innings.

The Warriors lost at Cedar Grove-Belgium, 10-0, in five innings on Tuesday.

They host Cedar Grove-Belgium on Thursday, April 16, play at Port Washington on Saturday, April 18, and at Kohler on Tuessday, April 21.
