OHS graduates celebrate a mission accomplished

Ozaukee High School graduates took center stage in Fredonia recently, first with a vehicle parade Friday, May 21, then with a graduation ceremony Sunday, May 23. Participating in the parade were Milwaukee School of Engineering-bound Sam Last (bottom photo) and Allison Clark (below), who sported the latest in graduate eyewear. But the crowning moment for the school’s 45 seniors was the commencement ceremony, which was slated for the football field but had to be moved indoors because of rain. That didn’t seem to bother anyone, least of all Amanda Dieringer and her mother Christine (right), who shared a celebratory hug. Ozaukee High graduates will be among those featured in the Ozaukee Press Salute to the Class of 2021 section published next month. Photos by Sam Arendt
