Noteworthy fish fry held

The Cedar Grove-Belgium High School band parent fish fry turned 40 last Friday with proceeds benefitting the band parents’ Florida trip fund. Ready to serve were (top photo, from left) Shari Lambrecht, Ginny Kurth, Sarah Konzak and Tina Bahr. Meagan and Kate DeMaster, 6, (bottom photo) happily supported the cause. The first fish fry was held in 1981 when the band was under the direction of retired director Tom Paulson. The band has taken a trip to Florida every four years since.
