NOSD calendar sets key dates

Important dates and breaks are set for 2026-27 in the Northern Ozaukee School District.

The School Board last month approved the school calendar, which exceeds hourly requirements for instructional time covered in 174 school days.

The annual back-to-school picnic is Monday, Aug. 25.

The first day of school will be Monday, Sept. 1, the first day state law allows public school to start without applying for a waiver.

Thanksgiving break runs from Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Friday, Nov. 27.

Winter break runs from Wednesday, Dec. 23, through Friday, Jan. 1.

Spring break runs from Monday, March 22, through Friday, March 26.

Students and staff do not have school on Friday, Oct. 2, and Feb. 19, and Monday, March 29.

The last day of school is slated to be Tuesday, June 2.

The date for high school graduation hasn’t been determined.
