Night sky viewing to be held Friday at state park

Telescope viewing of the night sky will be held Friday, Aug. 29, at Harrington Beach State Park.

Members of the Northern Cross Science Foundation will be at the Jim and Gwen Plunkett Observatory from 9 to 11 p.m.

In case of clouds, tours of the observatory will be given.

People are asked to park on the western end of the Puckett’s Pond parking lot.

The event is free but a park admission sticker is required.
