Nettesheim is director of Adult Literacy Center
Joe Nettesheim is the new executive director of the Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County.
Nettesheim, who took the post on Aug. 15,was previously the executive director of Inspirio Youth Ministries, Inc. in Nashotah for seven years and in Catholic ministry for more than 23 years, ministering in both parishes and schools.
He has a master’s degree in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University and is near completion of a master’s degree in dispute resolution from Marquette University.
“Literacy is an essential skill for any adult to be able to survive day to day,” Nettesheim said.
The organization will host its second annual adult spelling bee fundraiser Friday, Sept. 7, at River Club in Mequon.
