Moms Mental Health joins Grafton center

Moms Mental Health Initiative is the newest agency housed at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center in Grafton.

Moms Mental Health Initiative is dedicated to ensuring that pregnant and postpartum women access the mental health support they need.

Through peer support, education, advocacy, provider partnerships and resource navigation, it works to connect families with timely, compassionate care while helping to reduce the stigma surrounding maternal mental health.

Moms Mental Health Initiative will have dedicated office space within the nonprofit center while collaborating with fellow nonprofit organizations to increase awareness of maternal mental health resources and connect more families with the support they deserve.

“Their commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of mothers and families aligns perfectly with our mission of fostering collaboration among nonprofits to build a stronger, healthier community,” Ozaukee Nonprofit Center Chief Executive Officer Carissa Barnes said.

The Ozaukee Nonprofit Center began in 1994 when several agencies shared space in Cedarburg. In 1999, four participating agencies moved into the current facility at 2360 Dakota Dr.
