Michelle Brecke

Michelle Lee Brecke passed away on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. She was 40 years old.  

Michelle was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on April 23, 1981, to Michael and Kimberly (Paulsen) Edminster. She was raised in Port Washington, Wis.

Michelle enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and being outdoors. She also had a passion for jewelry making, drinking coffee, cleaning and making her family huge dinners. Italian was her favorite!

Michelle was a free spirit with a bubbly and feisty personality. She had a heart of gold and was such a giving and selfless person. She was truly a beautiful soul.

Michelle is survived by her parents Mike and Kim; children Hannah (13), Brodie (17) and Evan Brecke (20); husband Matt Brecke; sisters Stephanie (Josh) Eynon and Jessica (Tony) Eischen; mother and father-in-law Howard and Joan Brecke; brother-in-law Andy Brecke (Celena); and grandmothers Carol Edminster and Mary Paulsen. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandfathers Daniel Edminster and Tom Paulsen and brother-in-law Benjamin Brecke.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, Wis. 53074 at 6 p.m. The Rev. Susan Drake will officiate.  

The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.
