Michael D. Brown

Michael D. Brown of Port Washington passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was 68 years old.

Michael was born on Dec. 1, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late David and Margaret (Gustafson) Brown.

He attended Arrowhead High School and graduated with the Class of 1974.

One of Mike’s many hobbies included cooking, creating special memories every time he was in the kitchen. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan through the good and the bad every year.

Through the years traveling became one of Mikes many pastimes. He enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas and Arizona, which were two of his favorite places.

He was known as the Beer Guy at many fairs and festivals.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Nicholas and Brittnee Brown, his sisters Mary (Mike Zizzo) Brown and Beth (Jay) Outlaw, his significant other Chris King, who was with him for 18 years, his sister-in-law Colleen Brown, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Timmy Brown and his recently deceased brother Dennis.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
