Michael ‘Doc’ Erickson

Michael J. “Doc” Erickson, age 70, of Port Washington, Wis., peacefully passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, at home.
He was born on Oct. 18, 1950, in Ladysmith, Wis., the son of Emil and Helen Hayes Erickson. In his youth, Doc moved to Milwaukee.
For many years, Doc was a material handler for Kleen Test Products in Port Washington. He enjoyed bartending on the side. In his retirement he managed an apartment complex.
His hobbies included camping with his wife and Wisconsin sports. Doc cheered his beloved Packers every game.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his daughter Callie Erickson of Milwaukee and Bonnie’s daughter Christy (Dan) Rabitoy of Spring Valley, Wis.
Doc is further survived by four step-grandchildren; his brother Jim (Sally) Erickson of Port Washington; Bonnie’s siblings Ronald (Audrey) Patasius of West Bend, Jeanette Patasius of Plymouth, Lynda Heider of Cedar Grove, Karla (Edgar) Harvey Jr. of Waldo and Donnamae (Bruce) Laabs Sr. of Port Washington; sister-in-law Jeanette Patasius of West Bend; nieces, nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Doc was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda Erickson, his nephew Jimmy Erickson and brothers-in-law Larry Hansen, Donald Patasius and Allen Heider.
Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Washington. A spring 2021 gathering will be planned.
