Mary Ruth Pujanauski

Mary Ruth Pujanauski, age 72, of Port Washington passed away Sept. 22, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

She was born March 29, 1952, and called Milwaukee Street home her whole life.

Mary Ruth was the daughter of Albert and Helen (nee Bichler) Pujanauski. She attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from Port Washington High School with the Class of 1970.

Because of her love for people, she was drawn to the service industry and most recently worked at Meijer Inc. in Grafton. She enjoyed visiting with customers and always had a smile on her face.

She loved family get-togethers, decorating for Christmas, baking Christmas cookies, planting flowers, sending birthday cards, picking raspberries and canning vegetables from her garden.

You’d never find her without a dog treat tucked in her pocket.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George (Sue) Pujanauski, sister Karen (Mark) Krist and niece Sara Pujanauski.

Mary Ruth is survived by siblings John, Phil, Dave, Tom (Catherine) and Bill Pujanauski; nieces Gina Pujanauski, Alison Pujanauski, Emily Pujanauski, Marta (Rob) McCoy and Caitlin (Justin) Simonis; and nephews Alan Pujanauski and Matt (Amber) Pujanauski.

A celebration of Mary Ruth’s life will be held at a future date.
