Marriage Kristin Nett Brent Balzer

St. John XXIII Parish’s St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington was the setting for the June 9 wedding of Kristin Nett and Brent Balzer.

Father Patrick Wendt officiated the ceremony.

The bride’s sister Ellen Jarr and Matthew Bork were the honor attendants.

Kellie Barber, Melissa Yanke, Anna Heinen and Sabrina Jerome were the bridesmaids.

The groomsmen were Randy Jerome, Andy Jarr, Ryan Jeffers and Nick Paul.

Lauren Jarr, Clara Jarr and Gwen Jerome were the flower girls, and William Jarr was the ring bearer.

The bride’s cousins Stephanie and Sarah Volesky were readers and ushers.

Gretchen Jerome was the gift bearer and Reagan and Gabe Jerome were the servers.

A reception for the couple was held at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.

The bride earned her bachelor of science degree in education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and her master of arts degree from Cardinal Stritch University’s College of Education and Leadership in Milwaukee. She is the English learning coordinator for the Port Washington-Saukville School District.

Her husband, who earned his bachelor of arts degree in web and digital media development at UW-Stevens Point, is an engineer in the digital research and development department at Baker-Tilly in Milwaukee.

The couple live in Saukville.

Parents of the couple are Ron and Rosemary Nett of Port Washington and Jim and Laurie Balzer of Pardeeville.
