Mark L. Lubner

Mark L. Lubner went to his heavenly home on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. He was 89 years old.

He was born on Dec. 12, 1936, in Little Kohler, Wis., to parents Martha (nee Biever) and Herman Lubner Sr.

Mark attended Port Washington High School and graduated in 1954. During high school and following graduation, he continued to work on their family farm in Fredonia until 1987. After farming, Mark focused his skills on farm equipment repair and fabrication. He was well known in the farming community and beyond for his creativity, innovation and work ethic.

Mark was united in marriage with Bernice Kratz on April 11, 1959, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford, Wis. Together they loved dancing and above all raising their family. Mark and Bernice lived a faithful life as lifelong members of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville, Wis.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Bernice; children Stanley (Amy) Lubner, Daniel (Janice) Lubner, Bonnie (Brian) Dieringer and Cynthia (Kenneth) Witte; grandchildren Luke (Taylor) Lubner, Mitch (Shannon) Lubner, Marcus (Andrea) Lubner, Keith (Chelsea) Lubner, Ross Lubner, Adrianna Lubner, Olivia Lubner, Grant (Katie) Lubner, Isaiah Lubner, Noah Lubner, Virginia Lubner, Alex (Jocelyn) Dieringer, Jessika (fiance Greysen Lutz) Dieringer, Katelyn (Lance) Bolden and Matthew Witte; and great-grandchildren Carson and Oliver Lubner and Leah and Lydia Dieringer.

He is further survived by brother-in-law Raymond (Dianne) Kratz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, son Luke John Lubner, brother Herman Jr. (Donna) Lubner and sister Alice (Roland) Jacoby.

Per Mark’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
